Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Java, Selenium & Playwright.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Consultant with deep automation experience using Java, Selenium, and Playwright. The role requires leadership capabilities, strong technical hands‑on skills, and the ability to implement modern testing frameworks and practices.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of robust, scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

Own end‑to‑end automation delivery for the project, ensuring high quality and timely releases.

Define automation scope, strategy, and roadmap aligned with product goals.

Train and mentor team members on Selenium, Playwright, and advanced automation patterns.

Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and reusability.

Work closely with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.

Integrate automation suites with CI / CD pipelines and enable continuous testing.

Ensure adherence to automation standards, processes, and documentation.

Provide technical leadership, resolve complex issues, and act as SME for automation tools.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG / JUnit.

Working experience with Playwright (Java or JavaScript / TypeScript).

Solid understanding of testing frameworks and design patterns such as POM, Page Factory, and keyword driven.

Exposure to API testing tools like Rest Assured or Postman.

Experience integrating automation with CI / CD pipelines.

Strong leadership, communication, and team‑management skills.

Bachelor’s / master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred qualifications

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.

Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $68,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
