Alloy Casting Industries Limited is a custom manufacturer of stainless and carbon steel castings predominately for use in the oil & gas, and energy generation sectors.

We currently are seeking a skilled individual to join our team.

Role Description

• Manage and supervise day to day operation of the accounting function, including : AP and AR, Payroll, Banking, Journal Entries, General Ledger analysis, etc. Act as backup to all of these in the event of illness or vacation.
• Monitor USD / CAD exchange rate, update system rate monthly, manage sale of USD as required.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit all statutory returns (HST, T4, EHT, WSIB, etc.) as required.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and analysis.
• Prepare all information required from professional accounting firm for Year End Review and preparation of tax returns.
• Provide required financial information to consultants for annual SRED claim.
• Complete all Stats Can requests in a timely matter.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain management information systems, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of all systems, processes and data in accordance with company policy and legislation.
• Manage Human Resources including benefits and pension administration.
• Participate in a variety of special projects as assigned.
