SUMMARY

The Electrician (Facility Technician) holds a valid Certificate of Qualification issued by the province in which the work is performed and who has passed any examination which may be required. This role isresponsible for operating facility systems; performing preventative and corrective maintenance routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems for the assigned facility within the limits of company policy and trade certification. This role is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental health and safety fire protection.

At this position level :

• Operates facility systems
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems
• Trade certification or license of the following - required :

Journeyman level Electrical license

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Subject to legislative licensing requirements and company policy :

Critical Environment Specific Requirements

Support the creation review and approval of critical environment procedures.

Back-up the Critical Facility Manager as point of contact for clients and project teams.

Resolve maintenance issues.

This is a regular full-time position with a hourly wage of $37.67- $44.32 per hour. The starting hourly wage will be based on the successful candidates competencies including but not limited to experience education and performance related to this role.
