What your day will look like
Contract Administration
- Execute and support daily activities in the contract administration department for the construction of land development and municipal infrastructure projects related to water supply, sewers, roads, stormwater management, drainage, site grading, and erosion control.
- Conduct site visits to collect data, record quantities, observe construction progress / methods, provide project co-ordination, attend site meetings, and writing of daily progress reports
- Contribute in office with contract take-offs and cost estimates and the preparation of tender specifications and assessment schedules
- Become familiar with applicable design codes, standards, specifications, and guidelines used in the engineering / construction industry
- Assure that client's needs are identified, monitored, and addressed in a timely manner
- Provide clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Participate in training courses as requested

Hands-on experience with topographic surveying equipment is considered an assetCompensation : $60,500 - $75,000
Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range, contingent on factors unrelated to an applicant’s gender or other status protected by provincial and / or federal law.
