Detailed Overview

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients / clients / residents and families.

The Coordinator provides project coordination services to Fraser Health (FH) in the areas of business planning, process design, information management and transition planning under the direction of a Project Manager to improve the quality, consistency and delivery of IM services across FH; develops management and operational business processes and process templates in collaboration with assigned IM operating units; coordinates cross-functional teams to complete selected projects by working with project managers, business area managers and consultants to support the implementation and execution of selected projects, project management and budget control; assists the Project Delivery Services team with developing and establishing standards of practice for project management, selection, completion and follow up; implements project tools and processes consistent with industry-wide best practice, FH business and operational requirements; assists with measuring the overall effectiveness of improvement IM service delivery and responsiveness and monitors outputs against defined project standards / outcomes.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or Health Information Science, a professional certification such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) supplemented with two (2) to four (4) years\' recent related experience in contemporary project management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
