The Opportunity

We are seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Planner for our New Forest Mills located at Scarborough ON. The successful candidate to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies which includes preventative maintenance proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety regulations and optimizing production efficiency.

What youll do

• Safety and Compliance :

Actively encourage the sharing of SafeStart stories by team members.

Promote TPM principles across the maintenance team driving employee engagement in ownership of equipment upkeep and performance improvement.

Implement a robust preventive maintenance schedule based on equipment criticality and manufacturer recommendations.

Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly diagnose issues and assign repairs to technicians.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to OEE and maintenance costs in support of the New Forest Business Plan.

Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians assigning tasks based on skills and workload.

Shows moral courage openness and honesty in all dealings.

Hiring Range : $73 000 - $91000 per year. A candidates experience and knowledge may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
