Senior Java Software Engineer, TD Securities

Join the TD Securities team as a Senior Java Software Engineer (Engineer II). This role focuses on strategic Repo trading initiatives and involves developing and maintaining Java‑based components for the ION ANVIL trading platform.

Location : Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hours : 37.5 hrs / week

Line of Business : Technology Solutions

Salary : $126,800 - $164,100 CAD per year (variable compensation eligible).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, project teams, and third‑party vendors to solve complex data and system integration problems.
• Conduct technical and business analysis to determine and document business requirements.
• Create functional testing scripts and automated processes.
• Maintain and enhance the functionality of TD custom Java components used for integrating with the ION Platform and internal systems.
• Own complex technical testing and upgrades to keep applications up to date.
• Perform release and change management responsibilities, including use of automated deployment tools.
• Provide technical expertise to support teams for resolving escalated incidents.
