The Field Claims Representative II is responsible for the investigation, negotiation and settlement of complex automobile, property, farm, commercial and environmental claims.
How you will create impact :
Investigate, interpret coverage, reserve adequately, negotiate and settle complex automobile, property, farm and commercial claims with minimal unit specialist involvement.
Contribute to a client service culture by embedding client engagement philosophies into daily work and implementing innovative, client-centric decision making, to be THE industry leader in client engagement.
Work with clients, vendors and government officials on ensuring efficiency, timeliness and quality of the settlement of the loss.
Set up and maintain files for assigned claims.
Provide quality client service to our clients in accordance with claims service standards.
Coach and act as a technical resource for other claims staff.
Participate in audits and training as required.
Authorize payments and reserves of up to $200,000 authority.

To join our team :
Three (3) to five (5) years successful related claims handling experience or related business experience.
Valid AMF Claims Adjuster Cerification in Personal-Lines and Commercial-Lines Damage Insurance (Autorité des marchés financiers – Quebec specific licensing requirement) is required.
Chartered Insurance Professionals (CIP) designation is an asset.
Advanced knowledge of policy wordings, legislation, regulations and construction practices.
University / College Degree.
What you need to know :
You are required to have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
You will travel regularly.
Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required during peak periods and major events.
Potential exposure to conditions that require health and safety protection, such as chemicals, noise, dust and debris.
You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
