Primary Objective of the Position :

Daily Inventory control, storage & shipping of Maintenance Materials in YHM.

Essential Position Functions :

  • Respond quickly & efficiently to requests from Maintenance for parts & materials.
  • Issue parts and tooling from maintenance database and reconcile stock as necessary.
  • Shipping & Receiving of Maintenance Comat to and from Cargojet bases.
  • Shipping of Parts / Tooling to Repair shops.
  • Monitor parts / tools for inventory control and shelf life.
  • Various other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Work experience related to parts, warehouse or material handling.
  • Must be very well organized, scheduled and have experience working with minimal supervision.
  • Work requires a mathematical aptitude.
  • Work involves data entry to Inventory database and intermediate proficiency with MS Outlook, and basic proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workloads in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to safely lift 60 lbs. and be able to maneuver / balance a 350 lb. Main wheel.
  • Must be able to use heavy machinery (i.e. forklift). Training will be provided.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License; must possess or qualify for valid Drivers Airside Pass.
  • Aviation Parts experience would be a definite asset.
