Job Description
As a Engineering Support Specialist II here at Honeywell, you are primarily involved supporting project engineering teams, products and processes. In this role expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems is required to process Electrical, Mechanical and Test System drawings. This includes a range of responsibilities and duties essential for maintaining efficiency within design teams and ensuring the smooth operation of CAD tools and software.
You will report directly to our Sr Test Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.
In this role, you be responsible for the management of all the Drafting Tool libraries, supporting engineering during the Test Stand design phase, organizing and managing all drawings, documents and BOMs including the release into Team Center. This position requires collaboration with test system design and development teams to ensure products meet regulatory compliance and customer expectations. A strong foundation in electronic and mechanical principles, along with problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges is required.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
The annual base salary for this position starts at $73,600. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create drawings for Test Stands, Rack, Panels, Electrical and Mechanical Fixtures, Electrical Schematics and Board Layouts
Monitor and manage the CAD database, ensuring data integrity and security.
Coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
Provide specialized support to engineers in various phases of projects, including design, testing, and implementation.
Analyze existing engineering processes and CAD workflows to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies within engineering practices.
