The Information Technology team provides and supports the cutting-edge technology infrastructure to the company, delivering a range of products and services.

Members of the team are constantly learning and seeking new ways to evolve and improve our mission critical infrastructure.

This team collaborates with all areas of the business to provide high quality service delivery and exceptional project management in the most cost-effective manner.

We are currently looking for a Linux Engineer to join the team and help support the firm’s complex infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that our production environment is up and running properly.

This role allows for versatility of tasks and the opportunity to work on tasks and setups across our business.

Qualifications

  • Proficient Linux administration skills.
  • Familiarity with RedHat based Linux versions.
  • Thorough understanding of computer networking protocols and concepts including IP / TCP / UDP, NAT, DNS, NFS, and similar systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting Linux and application problems, with demonstrated history to understand root causes of complex problems.
  • Experience with UNIX utilities and scripting (Python, shell, etc.), experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of automation, configuration management and monitoring with systems such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies from AWS, GCP or Azure and tools related to build and operate cloud-based applications.

Experience in container-based technologies.

  • Experience in financial services or low-latency environments a plus.
  • Windows server administration skills a plus
