We are currently seeking a dedicated Office Administrator Assistant to join a supportive team for a temporary contract covering a leave of absence. This is a fantastic chance to utilize your administrative skills within a well-established organization.

  • Day shift schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (with some flexibility)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in visitors and customers.
  • Manage phone inquiries, assisting customers and transferring calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Perform Accounts Payable functions, including scanning and processing invoices through electronic workflows (training provided).
  • Maintain the office filing system, manage document scanning, and receive incoming mail.
  • Assist with HR administration by scanning and recording team member vacation and absences.
  • Monitor inventory and order office supplies as well as Health and Safety / First Aid materials.
  • Coordinate and organize work events such as meetings, staff parties, and customer events.
  • Review daily data collection for accuracy.
  • Qualifications

  • Previous office experience is required.
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software (e.g., Job Boss) quickly.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
