Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator with some experience in pricing and a solid understanding of the construction industry. This role is ideal for students looking to get experience in estimating while working alongside an experienced team on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Support bid preparation and submission processes
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project data
- Municipal permit document preparation, submission and tracking
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets for Municipal projects
- Communicate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors as needed
