Licensed Millwright – Immediate Start
Location : Barrie, Ontario | Full-Time | Day Shift
We are actively seeking a Licensed Millwright to join a growing manufacturing company in the Barrie area. This is a full-time, hands-on role with opportunities for growth, skill development, and working with a dynamic team.
What We Offer :
Competitive hourly wage : $42.00 – $45.00 (based on experience)
Day / Afternoon shift Rotation : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, 330pm-12am

Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, repair, and replace components for industrial machinery, including bucket elevators, screw conveyors, pumps, fans, kilns, ball mills, and other large rotating equipment.
Interpret schematics, diagrams, manuals, and technical instructions to identify and resolve machinery issues.
Perform minor fabrication, rigging, and welding tasks as required; complete hand sketches and technical drawings when needed.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Licensed 433A Millwright with Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship
ARC stick welding experience and rigging expertise
Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and general mechanical systems
Some knowledge of control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical equipment is an asset
Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment, preferably cement or mining surface plants
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights and in confined spaces, and navigate stairs
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically demanding environment
Shift Details :
In-office / on-site 5 days per week
Flexible with hours as needed
