Hardware Engineering Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified Hardware Engineering Manager to join our team.

Location : Peterborough, ON

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers across multiple aerospace programs.

Oversee the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems including power and embedded electronics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineering.

Ensure compliance with military and aerospace industry standards.

Drive technical reviews, design validation, and product qualification processes.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Interface with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and present technical solutions.

Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in a Canadian province or territory.

Strong knowledge of power and digital electronics, FPGA applications, PCB design, EMI / EMC, and system integration.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
