Systems Engineering Intern

As a Systems Engineering Intern, at our Peterborough, Burlington or Kitchener, Ontario facility, you will providr engineering design and / or analysis for nuclear products / projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring. Starting May 2026 for a duration of 4, 8, 12 or16 months.

About the role :

• Support the delivery of all technical elements of a project
• Drive innovation and new methods in the development of new technologies and nuclear systems
• Provide input and to the development of conceptual / detailed equipment designs as they progress through a structured design process
• Prepare clear and concise technical specifications, design requirements, requirements verification, design and test plans, reports
• Support or perform Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
• Support the manufacture, assembly and testing of systems, the resolution of manufacturing queries and assessment of non-conformances
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Interface with customers and outside vendors on issues and decisions surrounding the project execution.
• Support and development of system level interface drawings and documentation
