Junior Tax Analyst, Tax Slips Administration – Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the records for investors of various Investment Companies that offer investments such as Mutual, Segregated and Pooled Funds.

• Along with maintaining records, reporting is provided to unit-holders, all in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national policies
• Varies at time in tax season, however generally will be to perform QC on newly produced work, create duplicate tax slips and create amended tax slips.

Junior Tax Analyst, Tax Slips Administration – Mandatory Skills

• Must be comfortable with MS Excel - Ability to easily create/edit spreadsheets with formulas as needed
• Previous tax industry experience – i.e. Knowledge of CRA and RQ tax slips
• Microsoft Office applications - Word, MS Outlook

Junior Tax Analyst, Tax Slips Administration – Nice to Have Skills

• Accounting educational background is nice to have
• Funds industry experience required
• Knowledge of Unitrax record keeping system preferred
• Understanding of registered products desired
