Description de posteClean, polish, inspect, and assemble high-precision mechanical, optical, and electrical components within a cleanroom environment Set up, adjust, and operate hand tools, portable power tools, and assembly fixtures in accordance with engineering drawings and process documentation Adhere strictly to internal procedures, customer requirements, and manufacturer assembly standards Retrieve, verify, and manage hardware and components needed to complete assigned work orders Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to confirm compliance with tolerance and quality specifications Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant cleanroom by following housekeeping standards and safe work practices Use all tools and equipment in accordance with established safety guidelines Safely lift materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally Communicate clearly and follow both written and verbal instructions High School Diploma or GED required; college or technical training preferred Minimum 4-5+ years’ experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field Previous experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment preferred Ability to understand, learn, and follow detailed instructions and engineering documentation Previous aerospace or defence or medical devices or electronic micro-components manufacturing experience Previous jobbing shop experience preferred Experience as a quality control technician or quality control engineer is an asset
