Location : Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 3 days office and rest remote)

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

Build and integrate microservices with RESTful APIs for high performance and reliability.

Collaborate on front‑end development using modern frameworks for seamless user experiences.

Deploy applications on cloud platforms and manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Optimize relational and NoSQL databases for scalability and performance.

Implement CI / CD pipelines and work with DevOps tools to streamline delivery.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.

Expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend applications.

Strong experience in building and integrating microservices with RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Front‑end development with modern frameworks.

Experience with cloud deployment and containerization.

Database management (relational & NoSQL).

Experience with CI / CD and DevOps tools.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
