Associate Optometrist – Flexible Schedule | Future Partnership / Buy-out Opportunity

Kitchener Eyecare (www.kitchenereyecare.com) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Optometrist to join our established and respected practice.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.

This position offers a flexible schedule and a clear pathway toward future partnership or ownership within the practice.

Duties

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, including prescribing corrective lenses and medications.
• Provide patient education on eye health, vision correction options, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems (eVision).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and medical terminology.
• Assist in sales of optical products, with our Optical Team, ensuring patients receive the best options for their needs.
