Manpower is currently hiring General Labour Associates for a cold production facility in Vaughan, Concord maintained at approximately 3°C .

Position Details

  • Shift : 5 : 30 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m. 40 hours weekly with opportunity to work saturdays as well if you would like
  • Breaks : 30 minutes unpaid + 30 minutes paid
  • Pay Rate : $18.73 / hour
  • Physical Requirement : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Environment : Cold production area (3°C)
  • Location : Concord, Vaughan

Job Description

  • Picking / Packing / Stacking salad items
  • Preparing boxes and shipments for salad items
  • Lifting and moving boxes
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times. If there is anything out of place, it is your job to clean it up or organize it properly. A clean and safe working environment is everyone’s responsibility.
  • Perform various material handling, various packaging functions and other elemental activities in processing and production.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using pump truck. You must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Sort, core, cut and wash products
  • Check raw, in process and finished product for quality, and make QA aware of any issues. Also you may be required to weigh products, pack and box.
  • Follow all job duties, safety procedures and company policy and regulations
  • Ensure HACCP and other food safety practices are being followed
  • Perform all duties as required by supervisors.
  • Required to follow instructions from the lead hand or production supervisor to ensure production rates are met.
