Role Overview

Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to manage and support Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability (99.5%+ uptime), performance, and security. The role includes incident, problem, and change management, database upgrades, patching, automation scripting, and technical leadership on mid-to-large projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle DB environments including 12c / 19c / 21c+, RAC, Exadata, GoldenGate, and multitenant architecture.
• Perform database upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Develop scripts using SQL, VBScript, PowerShell, and Python for automation and maintenance.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes using BMC Remedy (eSMT).
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for complex database issues.
• Create technical documentation, reports, and procedures; train junior team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Support Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) reporting and customization.
• Ensure SLA compliance and operational efficiency.
