Senior Program Manager

On behalf of our client in the Healthcare Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Program Manager.

Senior Program Manager – Job Description

Provide program management leadership and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and / or enterprise wide.

Ensure accountability for the program’s centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery

Ensure programs are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with the organization’s methodologies, standards, and frameworks

Engage with subject matter experts from various teams (e.g., business, technical, data, analytics) to obtain input and consensus on a data / information stewardship model

Collaborate with D&A Operating Model project to ensure alignment between parallel workstreams

Proactively identify potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed; identify potential conflicts between project and functional areas

Senior Program Manager – Mandatory Skills

Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out and any required transition to operations, business planning, benefits identification, and organization funding requests for I&IT programs.

Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating I&IT executive expectations and translating into program deliverables

Exercises a range of leadership responsibilities including the role of coach and developer of talent

Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

Experience analyzing program and organization’s environments to identify potential risks and issues; articulates and prioritizes issues and risks to senior executives; recommends mitigation strategies to decision-makers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule

Uses significant innovation in the planning, analysis, and execution of tasks

Experience directing stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and consensus building

Provides program, portfolio, and / or project reporting to multiple stakeholders

Adheres to the organization’s standards and best practices for program

Experience scheduling and organizing meetings / events and maintaining agendas

Ensures technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
