Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of large-scale ICI projects, ensuring all phases are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, along with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance.
Implement and monitor project controls, including cost tracking, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
Foster collaboration and promote continuous improvement through LEAN construction practices .
Support field teams and ensure efficient communication between site and office operations.
Prepare and present regular progress reports and project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field .
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager capacity.
Proven track record managing ICI projects valued at $25M+ .
Transit, Healthcare, or Data Center project experience strongly preferred.
Experience with MetroLinx or other transit-related clients is a significant asset.
Knowledge and practical application of LEAN construction principles is an advantage.
Prior field-level experience (Project Coordinator, QA / QC, or Superintendent) is a strong asset.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
