Overview
The Surrey School District has an exciting opportunity in our Carpentry department. Reporting to the Manager of Structural Maintenance within the Facilities Division, the Carpentry position is responsible for a variety of projects including renovations, repairs, and new installations in over 140 school district sites and offices. The successful applicant must be prepared to work effectively in a small team, as well as independently, alongside all in-house trades to complete top quality work at various District facilities. Experience and training in institutional facilities is a bonus!

Employment details
Unionized position with an hourly wage rate of $40.65 per hour , plus a liberal benefits package including pension, health, vacation, and sick benefits.
This Carpenter position works 37.5 hours per week on afternoon shifts beginning at 3pm, Monday to Friday only.
