About The Role
Our Account Executives work with Account Management leaders to apply knowledge of the client’s competitive landscape and understand data/business results and their impact. They are capable communication professionals who handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment, building relationships across Ogilvy’s resources and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with clients.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day project contact for clients, creative teams, and other agency partners.
- Collaborate with all internal team members to facilitate the development of great work.
- Understand staffing and scoping requirements and recognize scope changes, elevating to Account Supervisors.
- Work alongside planning and senior account management leaders to produce simple creative briefs.
- Stay a step ahead of your team and client, anticipating needs and driving next steps proactively.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Execute media and advocacy relations activities, possessing working knowledge of media, influencers, and advocates.
- Analyze and present the client’s business results and competitive landscapes to clients and agency team members.
- Understand and respect every department’s role within Ogilvy.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of new business programs for potential and existing clients.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of industry experience managing the production or delivery of great work.
- Experience working on production (shoot, animation, adaptation, and studio) across a variety of media channels.
- Experience with a CPG brand is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Developed skills in research and analysis.
- Demonstrated commercial abilities and business and financial acumen.
