THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an expereinced Welder PipeFitter, working for a reputable company in Hamilton. This welder pipefitter is a permanent full-time position working with a dynamic team and amazing organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Weld structural steel using FCAW to create strong, reliable joints.Operate and maintain welding equipment, such as machines, grinders, and torchesPipefittingRead and follow blueprints and welding instructions to ensure accurate work.Safely operate an overhead crane to move materials and equipment.Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.Choose the right tools and equipment for each job to ensure good results.Work well with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.Take care of tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition.Solve problems and find solutions when welding issues arise.Help other departments like Assembly, Machining, and Mechanics to keep things running smoothly.REQUIREMENTS
2 years of experience in welding within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Pipe Fitting expereince requiredProficiency in FCAW (Flux Core)Strong welding and fitting abilitiesExpereince working with thick gauge material up to 3 inches, multipass, structural steelAbility to operate various welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the welding industry.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.Certification through the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) is an asset.
