Staff Accountant

This position is ideal for someone with strong billing experience who is either working toward their CPA designation or interested in growing into a broader accounting role over time. While the primary focus will initially be billing and accounts receivable functions, this role offers a clear succession planning pathway into more advanced accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will :

Prepare, generate, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time

Monitor accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies

Reconcile billing data with contracts, sales records, and accounting systems

Ensure accurate and reconciled inventories daily as part of internal controls

Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with company policies

Assist with monthly close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries

Support audit preparation with reports, schedules, and documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing and accounting processes

Gradually assume advanced accounting duties such as accruals, expense analysis, and financial reporting as the role develops

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA designation or actively working toward CPA preferred

1–2 years of recent experience in billing, accounts receivable, or full-cycle accounting

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting / ERP systems

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Valid G Class driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Ability to pass pre-employment testing (including drug, alcohol screening, and physical)
