We are currently seeking a " Application Developer " for a contract role. Please apply if you would be interested and available for it.

Title : Application Developer

Location : Toronto, ON / Onsite

Duration : 04+ Months

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience with Java / J2EE technologies
Experience with Core Java, JDBC, Servlets, JSP
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
Prior experience with the banking industry.
Education Level – Bachelor’s Degree is Mandatory in the field of Computer Science

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

Prior experience working directly with banking or financial services clients

Knowledge of secure application development and financial transaction processing

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Design, develop, implement, and support web-based applications using Java / J2EE technologies

Build and maintain applications using Core Java, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, and RESTful APIs

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of application issues

Ensure high-quality code through best practices, testing, and code reviews

Work closely with banking clients, including onsite collaboration in Toronto

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
