Qualified Special Education Assistants (SEAs) are in high demand and there are many opportunities in our growing community. Working with a team in a supportive environment, SEAs build strong connections with students to enhance their academic and social / emotional growth and independence.

SEAs work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals and paraprofessionals assisting with implementation of individual education plans, learning and behavioral support, personal care and a variety of other duties. Once hired, a casual employee can view all internal postings for Term and Continuing positions and has the contractual right to post into vacancies to secure more consistent and / or guaranteed hours.

PREFERRED INSTITUTES

We hire Special Education Assistants who have completed programs at the following institutions; however, we may consider candidates from other institutions if the applicant has additional SEA school-based experience (beyond a practicum).
