One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Process Engineer for their facility in GTA, ON location.
Shift - Days
Pay Rate - $80k-$85k
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, monitor, and optimize plastic manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming).
Analyze process parameters and production data to improve efficiency, yield, and cycle times.
Troubleshoot process issues related to quality defects, equipment performance, and material behavior.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing process parameters, documentation, and validation.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure smooth operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support cost reduction initiatives through material optimization and waste reduction.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
3 5 years of experience in a process engineering role within a plastic manufacturing or related industrial environment.
Hands-on experience with plastic processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
