Shift Production / Warehouse Operator

Our client is a well-established livestock feed manufacturer located in Grindrod, BC , proudly serving the agricultural industry since 1957 . They are currently seeking a Shift Production / Warehouse Operator to join their team.

This is a full-time, shift-based position reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor . The successful candidate will work in a hands‑on production environment and have the opportunity to develop new skills while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bagging, stacking, and filling customer orders
  • Repetitive lifting of 20 kg bags (essential requirement)
  • Monitoring bin inventories
  • Maintaining rolled grain production
  • Mixing and / or pelleting livestock feed (introduced progressively through training)
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all production tasks

Qualifications & Skills

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • 4th or 5th Class Shift Production / Warehouse Operator
  • Class 1 Driver's License considered an asset (not required)
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team‑oriented with a positive attitude
  • Open to change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, and dependable
  • Takes ownership of work quality and deadlines

  • Job Type : Full-time
  • Hours : Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Work Location : In person (Grindrod, BC)
