Description de posteBachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in project coordination within the civil construction industry, preferably in industrial projects. Strong understanding of earthworks, underground utilities, concrete structures, and heavy civil construction. Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Project Coordinator
Location : Edmonton, AB
Pay : $70K+ (Experience dependent)
Our client, a leading civil construction contractor specializing in industrial projects, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in Edmonton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure and industrial development projects across Western Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, project coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of industrial civil construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
- Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement processes.
- Participate in site visits and progress meetings to monitor project performance and address challenges.
- Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
