Description de posteProvide input and direction for conceptual and detailed process / chemical designs. Prepare process / chemical engineering analysis and design reports, calculations. Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior engineering staff. Coordinate with construction, procurement partners and utility stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze client problems and determine appropriate solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on cross‑functional projects. Stay current with technical developments and industry best practices. Contribute to technical papers, conference presentations, and research activities. Four‑year university degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Post‑graduate degree is an asset. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Registered Engineer in Ontario, or ability to obtain registration within one year. Expertise in at least one of the following specialties : Process design for unit operations (heat exchangers, dryers, distillation, gas / liquid pumping). Modeling of chemical process designs or nuclear systems. Hydrogen process production. Isotopes separation. Mechanical / process design engineering. Tritium / detritylation technology. Strong background in distillation and column design, heat and mass balance, and chemical engineering modeling and simulation. Excellent mathematical skills, especially differential equations. Experience in mechanical design engineering is an asset. Knowledge of basic nuclear power plant and modular skid‑based designs is an asset. Demonstrated customer skills and ability to deliver projects on time and budget. Team‑working and flexibility in work assignments. OPG and Bruce Power security clearance is an asset.
