Software Engineering Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager who is experienced at growing and enabling teams to build high availability, global solutions for consumers and enterprises. As Software Engineering Manager for our Dentrix Ascend Practice Management Solution, you will be a self-motivated individual who influences and executes technical strategic objectives, while representing your department across the wider business groups.

Availability : This is a hybrid role, with one to two days in office. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC.

Base pay range

CA$139,500.00 / yr - CA$176,750.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a mission-focused team of software engineers to improve the lives of Henry Schein One users and their patients through the creation of market leading solutions
• Help recruit and retain engineers to create a high performing engineering team
• Oversee team performance and support the team members on their mission and delivery commitments
• Enable your engineering team to practice continuous delivery at scale by removing workflow roadblocks
• Inspire, motivate and coach to enable continuous development of team members
• Ensure products are secure, compliant and reliable for Henry Schein One customers
• Collaborate with senior leaders across vision and strategy for your workstreams and products
• Work closely with Product leadership to influence and understand strategic commitments of your teams
• Develop meaningful relationships and work across the business to influence others to aim for the best possible user experience
• Enable process and practice maturity to deliver on global growth opportunities
• Positively and collaboratively influence decision making to improve practices with your teams, department and stakeholder network

The posted range for this position is between CA$139,500 CAD - CA$176,750 CAD which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
