The Opportunity
The Job Developer (JD) will liaise with employers and professional associations to obtain work experience opportunities for program participants with barriers to employment. The JD will assist Participants with job search strategies, providing tools and resources to help prepare and support job maintenance. The JD also contributes to the program team by assisting with participant recruitment, screening and liaising with community organizations.

Post-Secondary degree, in an employment services related field or, equivalent level of knowledge and experienceCertified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) an assetCertificate or diploma in Job Development an assetDemonstrated experience :
Building and maintaining partnerships with employers, community agencies, and other stakeholdersProviding customer service and resolving issuesKnowledge of the labour market in Langley and BC is an assetIn addition :

This posting is for a full-time contract Job Developer, 40 hrs per week, with the WorkBC Langley Centre. Must be able to work flexible hours (including some evenings and, on occasion some Saturdays).
