Senior Application Security Specialist

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Security Analyst - Job Description :

The Application Security team is globally accountable and supports the Bank’s business by enabling the execution of strategies, operations, and services while ensuring adherence to application security practices. This role involves proactively detecting application code flaws and working with teams to institute controls to mitigate risks related to web application vulnerabilities and threats.

IT Security Analyst - Responsibilities :

• Develop and enhance strategies to manage web application security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Enhance communication models for vulnerability remediation with development and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and enhance reporting for development teams and management to track remediation efforts.
• Recommend, design, assess, implement, deploy, and maintain application security controls.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate application vulnerabilities per CISO Directive.
• Ensure adherence to process flows for implementing control measures.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of findings to relevant teams and management.
