Warehouse Associate - Night Shift

THE ROLE:

You are a dedicated individual who thrives in a physically demanding and challenging role. You approach what you with a clear understanding of the direct impact on the business and work extensively to take a safe and supportive approach to deliver the best possible results to our customers.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Operate a reach truck, lift-truck, tow-motor;
• Select customer orders, build pallets according to delivery sequence and load trucks with focus on safety, quality, efficiency and accuracy;
• Work with all departments- support to the Warehouse Lead Hand in other duties, including routing and order entry, Sales dept;
• Above all a willingness to ensure Customer Service Excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preference to individuals having training/previous experience with produce and/or in the warehouse environment;
• Must be able to safely lift weights up to 60lbs regularly throughout the shift in a productive and efficient manner and handle the physical demands of the position (note: this is a bona-fide job requirement);
• Some computer skills would be an asset;
• Comfortable working primarily in a cool environment;
• Team oriented, willing to help out wherever needed, and a good sense of humor;
• Must demonstrate an adherence to all HACCP and Food Handling practices as well as to all Company’s policies and procedures.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the possibility of working weekends and statutory holidays- Saturdays are mandatory.
• Must be available to work from Sunday through to Friday night, with a day off during the week. This is a 5 day/week schedule.

Shifts begin from 10:00 pm to approximately 6:30 am.
