Medical Receptionist

Staffmax is helping our healthcare client hire a compassionate and organized Medical Receptionist for a 4-month contract. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial part in maintaining a smooth, professional medical office environment.

Contract length: 4 months
Location: Mississauga, ON

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally

· Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments

· Update patient records and maintain accurate files in EMR systems

· Process payments and issue receipts

· Ensure the waiting area is tidy and welcoming

· Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a medical or clinic setting

· Familiarity with EMR systems such as Accuro, OSCAR, or similar

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

· Organized, with great attention to detail and multitasking ability
