Position Summary
We’re seeking a Copywriter with a strong grasp of interior design principles and product knowledge to craft content that bridges design inspiration with technical precision. This role requires more than marketing flair—it calls for an analytical, curious mind that can unpack product details (materials, finishes, specifications, installation methods) and turn them into engaging stories that resonate with professionals and enthusiasts.
You’ll collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to produce copy that educates, inspires, and sells , establishing our brand as a trusted authority for home experts—from designers and architects to contractors and builders.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, sophisticated, and technically informed copy for websites, product pages, emails, blogs, social media, and print materials.
- Develop in-depth product descriptions that highlight design intent, performance characteristics, installation details, and real-world applications.
- Collaborate with designers, marketing leads, and technical experts to create content that is both visually and verbally aligned with the brand.
- Translate complex product information into persuasive narratives that speak to both emotional and practical decision drivers.
- Research materials, finishes, design trends, and building innovations to ensure accuracy and authority in all communications.
- Edit and refine content to maintain clarity, consistency, and tone across all channels.
- Contribute to content strategy, optimizing messaging for engagement, education, and conversion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience as a copywriter in the interior design, building materials, or home improvement industries.Exceptional ability to speak to both form and function —from the visual appeal of a finish to the technical details of its installation or performance.A strong grasp of design terminology, product specifications, and trade language used by builders, designers, and contractors.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to both narrative and technical accuracy.Knowledge of direct response marketing and the ability to write with a conversion-driven mindset.Ability to balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high creative standards in a fast-paced environment.A natural curiosity about how things are made, installed, and experienced in real spaces.What We Offer
