Experience prioritized over formal degree or certifications

Job Summary

The Java Developer will support major initiatives within the digital shopping and buying domain, contributing to the development and enhancement of enterprise‑scale digital sales applications. This role requires strong backend expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Contribute to large-scale digital sales application initiatives.

Build and support event‑driven architectures leveraging Kafka.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Support continuous improvement of development practices and system reliability.

Required Skills (Must‑Have)

7+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot (backend development).

3+ years of current or recent experience with Kafka.

Strong understanding of enterprise application development.

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Team lead or mentorship experience is considered an

asset .

Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

Experience developing applications on Azure public cloud.

Angular front‑end development experience.
