Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Lawyer at our office located in Vaughan, Ontario with at least 3 years experience. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. Collaboration with other legal professionals on case strategy and ensuring compliance with legal standards will also be core aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and analysis
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Experience in commercial / civil litigation and construction law
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with clients, colleagues, and court personnel
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree in law
• Experience practicing law in a litigation-focused environment is preferred
