Electrical Engineer

Salary Range : $90,000-$120,000 / yr

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our client in the electrical solutions space on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will support electrical planning reports and EV-ready plans while contributing to the development of innovative power management solutions. You will assist in deploying commercial, public, and residential EV charging and air conditioning systems through the completion of detailed electrical inspections and reports. Responsibilities include designing and developing new EV charging and electrical distribution solutions, as well as providing support for R&D, programming, and manufacturing initiatives as needed. This position offers the opportunity to work on projects that advance sustainable energy goals and modernize infrastructure across the Lower Mainland.

Must Haves

• Professional Engineer designation in Electrical Engineering and in good standing with the provincial association OR registered as an Applied Science Technologist under the Professional Governance Act
• Experience with electrical planning in both commercial and residential environments
• Strong customer relations skills
• High attention to detail and observant work style
• Ability to work independently and remotely when required
• Valid BC driver’s license
