Overview

Job Title : Business Development Specialist -Warehousing & Distribution

Job Summary : We are hiring a Business Development Specialist to work with one of our logistics clients in Brampton! The Business Development Specialist is a hunter-focused sales role responsible for acquiring new clients in warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics services across Central Canada. This position targets new business through outbound prospecting and solution-based selling within the GTA market.

Job Type : Full-Time, permanent

Job Location : Brampton, ON

Compensation Structure :

  • Base salary : $100,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped incentive / commission plan
  • Additional benefits and growth opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within Central Canada, with a strong focus on the GTA
  • Prospect, hunt, and close new customers for warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics services
  • Sell multi-service warehouse solutions including distribution, storage, co-packing, and re-packing
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions based on client needs
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term growth
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements
  • Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven “hunter” background in business development (not account management)
  • Experience selling warehousing and distribution solutions or co-packing / re-packing services
  • Background with 3PL, 4PL, logistics, or supply chain organizations strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to close new business and exceed sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of the GTA / Central Canada logistics market is an asset
