Security Site Supervisor - New Westminster

Our diverse, highly qualified team members and relentless commitment to excellence create superior results for our clients.ResponsibilitiesPlan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of security staff on site.Supervise assigned programs, projects, and site functions as required.Coordinate activities with client employees, departments, and contractors.Resolve work-related issues and submit detailed reports.Conduct training in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, including completing training checklists and assessments.Monitor and evaluate staff performance through report audits and patrol reviews.Ensure proper functioning of security systems, identifying maintenance or repair needs.Provide exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between clients and staff.Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively.Investigate workplace accidents, provide support to injured workers, and complete required reports.RequirementsAt least 2 years of supervisory experienceAt least 3 years of security experienceA valid BC Security LicenceCertified in Occupational First Aid Level 1/Basic Level First AidHigh school diploma required (Post-secondary education preferred)Additional relevant certifications in supervision or personnel management are an assetSkillsExcellent communication skills (including phone, email and report writing)Experience and demonstrated skills in conflict resolution Strong computer skills (including use of TrackTik software)Attention to detail and ability to multi-taskExceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients Strong organizing and planning skillsAbility to work in a team environment and also without close supervisionGood physical condition (ability to both sit or stand for long hours)Schedule: 08:00 am-04:00 pm (Monday-Friday)Working ConditionsWork both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and occasional lifting.May work independently or in a team.Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shiftspany PerksPay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experienceHealth & dental benefits for full-time employeesPaid training and subsidies for industry accreditationsReimbursement of Security License renewal fees (for full-time employees only)Up to $1,000 in referral bonuses when your friends join the teamProfessional Development & Internal Career Growth OpportunitiesA culture of respect and mentorshipAccess to exclusive employee discounts on over 5000 products & servicesFitness Centre Membership (at Head Office)Ready to Apply?Upload your resume and a cover letter explaining why this role aligns with your goals.
