OC29 - Order Picker - Forklift - Reach Truck - Day Shift

About the Role:

We are hiring forklift equipment operators for a leading logistics partner in the GTA. You’ll be operating order picker and reach truck depending on daily volume. A warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanners support every pick, move and putaway.This is a good fit for a versatile operator who is comfortable with technology. Strong performers can grow into inventory control, lead hand or supervisory roles.

Job Description:

- Operate an order picker, forklift and reach truck to pick, put away, replenish and retrieve product, including from high-bay and narrow-aisle racking.

- Load and unload trucks, and stage outbound orders accurately and on time.

- Use RF scanners and WMS software to confirm picks, moves and shipments.

- Receive inbound freight and check it against system records.

- Do cycle counts and resolve inventory and location discrepancies in the system.

- Do pre-shift equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

- Valid certification on order picker, counterbalance forklift and reach truck.

- 2+ year of lift equipment experience in a warehouse or distribution centre

- Comfortable with computers, including basic Microsoft Excel, email and data entry

- Experience with RF scanners or a WMS is an asset (training provided)

- Comfortable working at heights, with strong safety awareness and attention to detail

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
