Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions, interactive dashboards, and analytical reporting products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data analytics, data visualization, and reporting automation, with the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that support business decisions and performance evaluation.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business analysts, data specialists, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, validate data quality, and deliver user-focused analytics products aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards, scorecards, trackers, and interactive reporting solutions.

• Build automated monitoring and reporting products using Power BI, Power Automate, and related business intelligence platforms.

• Develop and maintain data models, visualizations, and reporting solutions using Power BI and Azure-based data platforms.

• Collect, consolidate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to create meaningful datasets and actionable insights.

• Apply data analytics methodologies to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance indicators.

• Integrate Python and AI capabilities to automate data exploration, enhance analytical workflows, and improve reporting efficiency.

• Conduct data verification, testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.

• Collaborate with business analysts, data specialists, subject matter experts, and leadership to understand business requirements and reporting needs.

• Translate complex business requirements into effective dashboards, analytical models, and visualization products.

• Coordinate the development and delivery of reporting products that align with business objectives and user expectations.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, present analytical findings, and communicate recommendations to senior management and project teams.

• Provide technical recommendations on reporting strategies, data visualization, and business intelligence solutions.

• Develop business requirements documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and technical documentation.

• Provide cross-training, end-user training, and ongoing support to promote adoption and effective use of reporting tools.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and analytical approaches, including generative AI, machine learning, data science, and data interoperability.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting processes, analytical capabilities, and data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions using complex datasets to generate actionable insights for operational, policy, and executive reporting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics solutions, including dashboards, reporting products, and analytical workflows.

• Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating meetings and communicating effectively with senior management and project stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years of experience using data analytics tools and methodologies to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.

• Minimum 5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements and align reporting solutions with product vision and user needs.

• Strong knowledge of Power BI dashboards, data modeling, visualization techniques, and reporting optimization.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate complex data and technical findings into clear, business-focused recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering business insights and analytics strategies for large organizations or government environments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing business requirements documentation and translating stakeholder needs into reporting specifications.

• Minimum 5 years of experience building analytical models and performing quantitative analysis to support business decisions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business writing, professional communication, and technical documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience evaluating and applying emerging trends in semantic research, generative AI, AI ethics, advanced analytics, machine learning, data science, and data interoperability.

• Experience with Power Automate, Azure-based data platforms, Python, and AI-enabled analytical solutions.

• Experience in data quality assurance, reporting automation, dashboard validation, and end-user training.

• Experience developing SOPs, user guides, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
