Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented inventory professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced production and operations environment, including cooler or freezer conditions.

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will help maintain accurate inventory records for flowers, plants, and other products by completing physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting product availability across internal systems and online listings. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, communication, and follow-through are essential.

This opportunity offers steady weekday hours, a team-based environment, and the chance to contribute directly to operational accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will work with multiple departments, including receiving, marketplace, and sales, while building practical experience in inventory control, production operations, and supply chain support.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete daily physical inventory counts of flowers, plants, and designated products within established timelines.
- Compare physical inventory against system records, investigate discrepancies, and complete recounts when required.
- Coordinate authorized inventory adjustments and maintain accurate documentation of counts, variances, and resolutions.
- Review and resolve negative inventory quantities, identify root causes, and report recurring trends to management.
- Monitor inventory movements, including receiving, picking, transfers, and related transactions, to ensure system accuracy.
- Verify product identity, variety, quantity, labelling, storage location, and online availability while communicating corrections to the appropriate departments.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $19.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Mississauga, ON.
- Current schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.
- Schedule effective October 19: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.
