A leading national distributor of pop culture, trading card games (TCG), and collectible merchandise is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at their 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Surrey, BC.

This hands-on leadership role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, team coordination, and daily workflow execution across receiving, inventory management, and fulfillment. The ideal candidate brings extensive warehouse management experience, strong expertise in implementing bin systems, and a proactive leadership style. Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Surrey, BC
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Position
Pay Rate: $38.00 – $45.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule & Shift: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts; occasional overtime & bi-annual weekend inventory required)

Eligibility:
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Warehouse or Distribution Center Manager
Hands-on experience implementing and managing a warehouse BIN System
Ability to successfully clear a criminal background check and provide professional references
You are currently located in and legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, inventory organization, order picking, packing, and shipping
Manage inventory control, reconcile stock discrepancies, and lead bi-annual weekend inventory counts (conducted twice per year)
Lead, coordinate, and mentor a team of ~16 warehouse personnel, including Shipping/Receiving department leads
Track key performance metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, and execute continuous process improvements
Conduct regular employee performance reviews and foster a high-accountability team environment
Enforce, train, and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety requirements and workplace regulations
Operate material handling equipment, including Walkie Stackers and Forklifts, to support daily floor execution

Qualifications
10+ years of warehouse or operations management experience required (minimum 5+ years required)
Demonstrated expertise in warehouse layout, inventory management, and BIN system implementation
Certified and experienced in operating Walkie Stackers and Forklifts (valid external certification is an asset)
Proficiency in MS Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills under pressure
Knowledge or personal interest in Trading Card Games (TCG like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, etc.) and pop culture merchandise is considered a strong asset
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
