Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure .NET Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Cosmos DB, REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.

This role involves technical design, hands-on development, cloud application architecture, performance optimization, and collaboration with distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available applications using Microsoft Azure.

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Develop cloud-native applications using Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, AKS, and Azure Storage.

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations.

• Collaborate with cloud architects to implement reliable and scalable solutions.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established engineering standards.

• Conduct code reviews and support development best practices.

• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or comparable tools.

• Monitor applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

• Troubleshoot application defects and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Implement secure coding, identity and access management, and encryption practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and development activities.

• Create architecture diagrams, API specifications, and technical documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure.

• Strong programming expertise in C# and .NET Core, with knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure App Services

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

  • Azure Cosmos DB

  • Azure SQL Database

  • Azure Event Hubs

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Azure Logic Apps

  • Azure Storage

• Strong understanding of microservices, serverless computing, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating external systems.

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.

• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and secure coding.

• Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and application troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps Boards.

• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.

• Excellent communication, analytical, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft Azure development or architecture certifications.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud applications.

• Experience working with globally distributed development teams.

• Experience improving cloud application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
